It should come as no surprise, hot on the trails of the official release, that this week’s post is all about my new D&D fifth edition adventure, Rescue at Brightwell. The product page details everything you’ll get for purchasing this six-hour adventure, and it’s all yours for less than the price of a large pizza!
The adventure takes your players deep into enemy territory, where their mission is to save an ally, Private Heston, from the enemy Peldadrin forces. However, trouble befalls the group early on, turning a simple extraction into a harrowing fight for their lives. Though direct conflict may seem obvious given the war setting, Rescue at Brightwell provides alternate solutions to the adventure’s encounters. This, in turn, gives you the tools needed to adjudicate the Players’ unorthodox plans with ease. Also, there are opportunities abound to incorporate this into a full campaign if desired.
In addition, the Adventure Hooks provide a heightened level of immersion with the module’s story, helping even one-shot characters feel like real soldiers in the midst of the ongoing conflict instead of disjointed min-maxed mercenaries.

If anything written here appeals to you, try out Rescue at Brightwell at your table! I think that’d be a pretty cool thing to do. Then, what I’d really appreciate is if you left a review on the Dungeon Master’s Guild site regarding your experiences playing the adventure. It’ll help me make improvements to the module and show me what to focus on in future ventures.
Happy gaming!
