In the Lodge, things are simple.
They can look like you.
They want to BE you.
And in here, the only thing standing between you and death is six millimeters of glass.

In Six Millimeters, you and your friends are being hunted by malevolent mirror creatures known as the Polished. Violent and cunning, the Polished steal the reflections of others to learn the mannerisms and weaknesses of their prey before they strike. However, they’re not content with being mere copies; when a Polished kills, it can permanently assume the victim’s appearance and memories.

Shardlings, the most deviant of the Polished, revel in the terror and paranoia caused by turning their victims’ reflections against them.

A silver-colored humanoid monster with clawed hands and empty voids for a mouth and eyes.
A Shardling ready to strike.

Panes use their impressive stature to overwhelm their target, while the Reflected nimbly return blows back at their attackers. The Mirror Sage, the most clever of the Polished, commands these mirror monstrosities and captures the characters for reasons unknown.

A silver mirror with a cracked face. Black smoke trails above the mirror. In the cracked face, a smokey gray skull looks outward.

Six Millimeters is intended for four-to-six 1st-level characters and can typically run anywhere from 7 to 9 hours. Using milestone awards, the characters will reach 3rd-level by the end of the adventure, making this a perfect start to any campaign looking to pit the players against overwhelming odds. With the release of Curse of Strahd Revamped last month, this adventure serves as the perfect alternative to the Death House mini-adventure.

If you’re looking for a great starting adventure for your homebrew grimdark campaign or want to start your Curse of Strahd adventure with the terror and hopelessness befitting the lands of Barovia, look no further than Six Millimeters.
